Margarita Recipe
The Margarita is one of the most popular tequila based drink. It is a favorite among women and is made with tequila with triple sec and lime or lemon juice. It often has salt on the glass rim Some bartenders think that the salt on the glass rim is to hide the bitterness of some tequila.
Margarita is usually served shaken with ice, on the rocks, or can be served as a frozen margarita (blended with ice).
Here are some easy-to-make Margarita recipes you can make:
Simple Frozen Margarita
- 1 oz. White Tequila
- ½ oz. Triple Sec
- ¾ oz. Freshly squeezed key lime juice
- ¾ oz Simple Syrup
- ice

Mix all the ingredients together. Serve over ice cubes in a salt-rimmed margarita glass. A frozen margarita uses crushed ice in place of ice cubes. The glass must only be filled until ¾ full of crushed ice.
Blue Margarita/Melon Margarita/Strawberry Margarita
- 1 oz. White Tequila
- ½ oz. Blue Curacao/Midori (for Melon Margarita)/Strawberry Liqueur (for Strawberry Margarita)
- ¾ oz. Freshly squeezed key lime juice
- ¾ oz Simple Syrup
- ice
Cadillac Margarita
- 1 oz. Gold Tequila
- ½ oz. Cointreau
- ¾ oz. Freshly squeezed key lime juice
- ¾ oz Simple Syrup
- ½ oz. Gran Marnier
- ice

Mix all the ingredients together, except the Gran Marnier. Serve over ice cubes in a salt-rimmed margarita glass. Float the Gran Marnier on top. Enjoy!
